If I could rate 10 stars I would. This company has gone above and beyond for us and we are so appreciative. After purchasing a new home we ran into some problems and Ward was responsive and quick to schedule appointments for us to get settled in. Everyone in the office has been friendly and accommodating. On the HVAC side of things, Jeff came out to check out our situation and see what had to be done. He was very friendly and informative, he let us know what he was doing every step of the way. Come to find out our entire HVAC system was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. Jeremy made sure we had a thorough understanding of the best systems for our house, and the technicians who installed the system were just amazing. Dave and Cole were at our location first thing in the morning and worked all day to make sure the job was done (and the installation at our house was not cut and dry, there were some major hiccups along the way that they handled with ease and professionalism). We couldn't be happier with the results.We also had to have some plumbing work done, Alan and Bobby were both friendly and professional, explaining everything they found and outlining all of our options so we were able to make informed decisions about repairs. The work they did on our bathroom sinks was clean and the issues were all fixed. They are also looking into some options for larger issues we have, which we really appreciate as well.Overall, as new residents to Franklin, we are so happy we found this company and will continue to utilize their services. PLUMBING (NEW HWH):Smart, capable, professional. Alan and Andrew did an excellent job. This is a state of the art high-tech heat pump hot water heater (HWH). It shutoff about 40 minutes after they left. So I called the Ward office and the office contacted them on the road and they came back immediately. After analysis, Alan and Andrew came to the conclusion that during the installation, they had accidentally allowed some water to seep under the HWH. This HWH has a special feature that shuts a valve to prohibit more water from flowing if it detects water under the tank. So, the Techs concluded the HWH was doing its intended job. They also read the Rheem install manual and saw that they could press the disable alarm button for 5 seconds and the HWH would resume functionality for 24 hours, which they did. At their suggestion, I also brought a box fan into the crawlspace and turned it onto the base of the new HWH, which will hopefully cause the water there to evaporate more quickly. So: Ward's Techs are smart people who can figure out new-fangled tech and solve problems.HVAC (NEW SYSTEM REPLACING OLD SYSTEM):Diego, Jesse, Austin and Steve get 5* for tearing out the old system and installing the new Bosch 2.0 inverter variable speed heat pump in one day (are coming back tomorrow to get the dual fuel LP gas installed). Kudos to Jerry Hill in the home office for getting a double crew here today to make this happen. Smart, technologically knowledgeable installers. And polite and professional, too.

My heat pump stopped working (as did the thermostat). With a cold front moving in quickly, I needed help...fast. I called Ward's at 8 am and the technician arrived at 11am same day! The HVAC specialist (Austin Dill) was professional, polite and knowledgeable. Not to mention how darned nice he was!It's rare to get a contractor that has all four traits. Very pleased with Ward's and Austin.Last time I used Ward's was for plumbing, they did a good job there too and still no problems with the repair.

Diego and Cole were our amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ technicians. They finished us up today and were so kind, helpful, informative and communicative. You see, our air went out and when Brad W. from Ward found out we were sitting around in the HOT HEAT OF SUMMER he contacted me directly, he personally got something set up and Jason came out to look at our options. We ended up needing a new system since our old one was a few decades old, inefficient, and broken. The service from beginning to end was fast and I am so thankful for them as we have two little ones and a dog in the home, they made sure to let us know what was going on and got someone out quickly. They even coordinated with the electrician to help get us converted over to our new system. I am so happy with the service, this is the first time I've used Ward for my personal home, we use them at my job for the properties we manage and they have always been great there so I knew I was in great hands. After only 10 years of operation, our heat pump finally died a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to Ward's though, we're back up and running! From start to finish, the crew did an amazing job working with us. In just half a day, their two-man crew were able to swap out both the air handler and compressor with upgraded, more efficient equipment. A couple of plumbers came out and did not finish their job they were supposed to do. They even broke a couple of parts and left the job without repairing leaks. Will came out and saved the day. He fixed the broken parts caused by the previous plumbers. He replaced a kitchen faucet that had been installed without a spray hose, with an upgrade at no cost. He unplugged a clog in the bathroom sink drain and fixed a crack in the pipe. I would highly recommend Will. He has an outstanding attitude and does superior work. Thank you Will Edwards for getting our plumbing back up working again on a Saturday.

The review is from Kyeleen, my elderly Grandma. Wow!!! I am Kyeleen. My heat went out in 20-degree temperatures outside. With a 3-year-old and a 10-year-old, I panicked. I called Ward Plumbing and Heating and on the other side was the most pleasant voice I had ever heard. I felt like I was talking to someone who cared about me and the problem I was having. I found that everyone at Ward's was just as pleasant. Everyone Who entered my home was professional, pleasant, and wore their masks. The workmanship, cleaning up the aftermath, and most important their timeliness were amazing. Ward's would always call or text and let you know the date and time and even a picture of the person/people to be in your home along with their names. Just finished a project replacing my 20 year old heat pump with Ward P&H. Their service is exemplary. I don't know how to rate the pricing because I didn't get competing bids. I just wanted good service and good product, which is exactly what I got. The new Bosch equipment looks good, sounds good, cools good. I like the quietness of this two-stage machine. Big difference from the old Trane. The installation crew was efficient and obviously very knowledgeable. The primary installer, Steven Franks, was top notch. I would recommend him to anyone. His helpers were just as good. Nothing but 5 stars here.

Dave Geiger came on a holiday with Jerry to connect my heat pump emergency system which had not been connected because they were waiting for an electrical panel upgrade. The upgrade was last week but I didn't know I had to call Ward PH to do the hook up. These men were exceptional - they came to my son's house to find me (2 doors down) then quickly connected the unit, then programed the thermostat with a bonus of telling me about NEXIA remote internet connection to my system - AND they helped me set that up on my phone. April 30 was the first really warm day at our house, and our heat pump was not putting out any cool air. Tom called Wards, and took advantage of a new deal they have. For not much more than the regular "housecall" for our current problem, Tom agreed to a "WeatherGuard" program to have them come twice this year to check out our unit for changing seasons. So the next day, Joe Cary came and within about an hour had cleaned our condenser, replaced a bad fan--and put in a new filter that came with this new program. He was quick, courteous, and professional, and didn't even tramp down any of my ferns growing at the outside unit. Thank you Joe and thank you Wards. House is cool, and glad to know you will check back on us in the fall.

April 16, 2019I received a call from my tenant at 9 AM that the Heat Pump and Air Conditioning Unit was not working. I immediately called Wards Heating and Plumbing. Wesley the Service Manager responded to my call and within 10 minutes Wesley had me scheduled with Joe their Technician for service repair between 1 PM and 2 PM. Wesley advised he would let me know when Joe was on his way. Wesley called advising Joe would be at the location between and 12 PM and 1 PM. Joe arrived at 12:20 PM. Joe was well organized, and took immediate action to search for the problem. Providing tests on the system he quickly identified the problem was with a small pump unit that removes water from the air flow system to the outside. The unit was off level as a result the unit system filled up and shut off the unit. Joe leveled the unit the pump kicked in water was discharged emptying the unit and the system restarted with no problems. Joe checked his computer system and realized that I have Service Check System twice a year, Fall and Spring. Since I had not had my Spring check up he completed the check up. As a result there was no charge for the call. Yes Joe saved me money and Wards benefited as work that would have been scheduled later in two to three weeks was completed saving man hours and scheduling for Wards. 5 star rating for Joe and for Wesley for just prompt response. Wesley and Joe you made me look like a hero in the eyes of my tenant as a result of your quick response and correcting the problem. Thanks so much. Hats off to a great team.Roy Estabrook

I have used Wards Plumbing and Heating for both commercial and residential repairs, and have been very pleased with the customer service on all occasions. Both the technicians and scheduling staff worked tirelessly recently, to help with an outage at the Sylva Police Department during the most recent cold snap. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of such services.

We have been dealing with Ward since 2010 when they installed our Trane heat pump. They have also worked on our fuel furnace and done plumbing work for us. They are honest and reliable. We always recommend them to anyone.

I recently Had a problem with my outdoor condenser unit. I called on a Monday morning and the same day by 3:30pm I had a tech at my house. It took him about 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and then he had the part on his truck and the repair was done. Best service I have ever received by far. Ward Heating & Cooling is now my go to service for my HVAC problems.
